Danielle has been my mentor for the past year and has helped me so much in photography. When she messaged me saying she wants me to take her family pictures I was so excited but nervous at the same time. I mean come on! I’ve been looking up to her, striving to get as good as her. How am I going to be able to take these pictures in hope she likes them. So of course I went into watching hours of retreat videos of family sessions. The day after Thanksgiving I met her at her house helped her decide on the family outfits and choosing family outfits is another story. All I can say is its not easy to coordinate without being so matchy. Anyway we all hoped in the car and went to Coyote Hills. I asked her before hand is there anything you want and she said just do whatever you want and just be you. With Danielle being a photographer its great that she’s just so easy going and not trying to take control of the situation. It was a blast and I even got to use her 15mm fish eye lens that is definitley next on my list of lenses.
